UPDATE: Lia and Elkus saved Balda from the Boromar controlled dreamily den. They did manage to kill Thomas, the proprietor of the establishment. With the help of the juice lady, Glenda, they detoxed Balda. Now their options have been cut short. They have made enemies of the Boromar clan. Perhaps they can see what the Daask are up to in this encroaching gang war which threatens the Fabricators Guilds interests.
Merrix d’Canaith- Head of Fabricators Guild and one of three in line to be head of House Canaith.
- Has asked you to sort out a potential war between the Boromar Clan and the Daask Gang.
- He is concerned that the Fabricators Guild will suffer as their foundries in The Cogs lies between the two gangs home turf.
- A representative of House Deneith (mercanaries and fighters) was seen being picked up by the Boromar Clan.
Nikola Lightfoot – An apprentice at the Fabricators Guild. She has family in Callestan.
- She has told you some background information on Callestan.
- Her sister is getting into Dreamily (opium) and she wants to get her family out of there.
- The east side is controlled by the Boromar Clan. They are the accepted, defacto mafia group in Sharn.
- There is very little City Watch presences (none) in Callestan, Lower Dura.
- The west side is controlled by the Daask predominately, but mainly a wild west kind of situation (basically the whole place is like this).
Some notes:
- Merrix wants this potential war to be settled as quietly as possible. Without the Fabricators Guild being implicated.
- The Anvil, is where you can find Boromar Clan soldiers hanging out. You were also told about an Inn (The Broken Mirror), A shop of oddities (The Crooked Cat).
- You have been dropped off at the Bridge, the central market where the remains of a bridge now lies derelict.
- Callestan is dirty, with water dripping from above. Natural light does not reach this lower level of the tower. Dan suggested the scene from The Fifth Element, in the airport, where there is rubbish strewn about, i like it.
- Elkus and Lia both dated Lana, but have not heard from her for some time.
